What is Family Recovery Court?

Family Recovery Court (FRC) is a team-based program that supports parents with Substance Use Disorder to navigate through their DCS CHINS case. The FRC team comprises the FRC coordinators, DCS staff, CASA, and local treatment providers. Participants who are selected for FRC attend weekly court hearings and substance use treatment and submit to frequent drug screens. FRC is proud to offer parents incentives as they navigate the FRC program. These incentives (court bucks) can be used to purchase many different types of items, such as household items, hygiene items, items and activities for children, and gift cards.
